Photog., CPP, AFP-O, AFP-W is a portrait artist specializing in newborn babies and families. Her boutique, retail studio where she offers workshops and private mentoring is located in Bend, OR. She is an international award winning artist and 3-time photographer of the year. She speaks on the national circuit across the United States and instructs studio owners around the globe in both in-person sales, ProSelect software, media relations, effective studio systems and newborn portraiture. The Studio Pricing Guide | The Solution to “Collections”

It’s finally here! Our studio investment guide is now available for your own portrait business. After many, many requests, we have released the complete pricing guide. Hours and hours of design work, strategic thinking, business planning and client testing has gone into this guide! We use it everyday in the Jewel Images Portrait Design studio and have found the flexibility in this pricing structure allows clients to purchase what they want, but also gets the business to its bottom line.

The pricing is structured as a “Create Your Own” collection. The client simply has to follow the three steps to create their own portrait collection. It’s a fantastic solution to traditional packages because the client can choose from any number of products from wall art, digital files and albums to gift prints and boutique items— only purchasing what they want and need when they follow the three steps:

Choose Two: Wall Art, Digital Files and Albums
Choose Three or More Gift Prints : 8 x 10 or smaller
Choose Boutique Items (optional step)

Included in this guide is complete text, product descriptions, prices and layout. The prices have been determined against our studio’s cost of goods, so you will need to check to make sure these prices work with your own COGS and market structure. Make sure your market can bear these prices. In some cases, you will need to make them higher! Pricing is included for prints, float wraps, gallery wrap canvas, canvas clusters, standouts, albums, image boxes, digital files, gift prints, jewelry, specialty items, cards, storyboards, plus our entire incentive program is included. We have samples of all our products here at the studio. Show what you want to sell!

The guide is formatted for a WHCC 8 x 8 Album. I have two of these printed in our studio and it’s what clients refer to during the sales appointment. We also have an online version that is part of our client information website. It can be printed using any of WHCC’s cover and press paper options except pearl. The cover needs to be re-sized if you wish to print pearl finish pages. The album does not include images or damask flourish. Any page can be customized to your liking.

ProSelect Wall Gallery Templates | Just Released!

Show A ProSelect Wall Series In Actual Size

Wall gallery templates for ProSelect that you can actually size up or down and use with ProSelect’s “Select a Size” or “Room View!”

The common problem with the conventional ProSelect wall gallery templates is that they are designed with cartoon/vector art furniture to show scale, yes, but photographers cannot show the wall gallery on their clients wall or on a projection screen in actual size. Plus the images are small inside the template and difficult to see. Now you can!

1. All templates are scale-able up or down in size.
2. They can be flipped and rotated.
3. They can all be framed with whatever frame you have loaded into ProSelect (up to 2.5″-3.0″ in width).
4. They can be shown in “Select A Size” in actual size on a projection screen.
5. They can be shown on your clients wall in actual size using “Room View” on any display (laptop, TV or projection.
6. Over 60 templates compatible with ProSelect 4.1 or later. With the ability to flip and rotate them, you receive over 100 different configurations.
7. Formatted as a .tpk file so double clicking will instantly load the templates into your ProSelect software. Ready to use.
8. Single image templates with multiple crop ratios included that will be compatible with the next release 2010r2.

The next release will allow you to SHOW MULTIPLE LAYOUTS on a wall! This means taking any one of these wall gallery designs and then being able to ADD TO IT with up to 16 single images.
