Studio Session $150
This up to two hour session takes place in our third floor 4000 square foot loft-studio. We use everything from simple and timeless backgrounds to trendy sets, and even our studio's wood floors and brick walls to create edgy, artistic images. During that time, we change outfits and backgrounds as much as possible to offer you the most variety in your session. From dramatic lighting to wind blown hair, the studio allows us to create almost any look and give it a sense of amazing style.
This up to three hour session includes time in our studio and on-location in Portland's Pearl District. We take you on an urban adventure through the streets of Portland, creating images that evoke high-fashion drama against a backdrop of city streets. The time is split between studio and on-lcoation fairly evenly, and we allow as many outfit changes as possible during the time allowed.
Session fees must be paid in advance to hold your booking. Session fees are non-refundable.With 48 hours advance notice sessions may be rescheduled. Weekend sessions incur an extra $50 fee. The session includes the time and talent of the photographer only and does not include prints. Once the digital images are created we spend several hours beyond the session re-touching and perfecting each hand-selected image. At the in-person preview and ordering appointment approximately 3 weeks later, you will be shown 40-70 images from your session.

Collection purchase offers our clients specially reduced pricing and a better value for your investment. If you plan on purchasing gifts for family, an heirloom album or a variety of images, we reccommend evaluating one of our Collections to meet your needs. If you plan to only invest in one key wall portrait, A La Carte may be a better option.

Our Collections are based on a variety of our Fine Art Albums, and then offer a print credit at VIP pricing so that you may customize your portrait package according to your own needs. Collections begin at $750. We offer three image finishes including our esteemed metallic finish --- a gorgeous way to showcase your images as a fine art wall piece. We truly believe in your "Family as Fine Art" and always encourage clients to purchase one large piece or a wall collection that will stand out in a room. With a collection purchase, VIP pricing offers fabulous savings, and allows for fine-art add-ons including our session album or our customized, fine-art coffee table books.

We will gladly electronically transfer one of your yearbook pictures to your school yearbook advisor. Thereis a $50 fee for this service and a $500 minimum order. Clients who purchase one of our Collections recieve this service as a complimentary add-on.
411 Cards
One of the newest trends in the senior market is the 411 Card. The cards feature one or two of your favorite images from the session along with your contact information laid out on a card that shows off your sense of style.
Storyboards
An excellent choice for those who want to showcase a series of images together as one. Storyboards are available in a variety of sizes including 10x20, 15 x 30 and 20x20.
Mini-Session & Full Session Albums
10- 4x6 prints in an accordian album or 20- 5x7 prints in a black leather album. Upgrades include square sizes in a variety of cover options. Images can be upgraded with customized borders.
Coffee Table Books
The coffee table books are one of this years hottest products in our line-up. This 10 x 10 hardcover book features all of the images from your session on pages that look like they came straight out of a magazine. This is sure to be a hit with your friends.

Custom designed cards to announce your big day. We offer three finishes on our thick press-printed cards. We will design them flat or folded featuring images from your session. Each design is unique.
Custom Image Boxes
A 5 x 7 box featuring 15 images form your session, including a custom designed box cover. The images inside come mounted on Styrene and feature our metallic finish.
-------------------------------------------------------------Our 4000 sqaure foot loft studio is located in historic Old Town Portland. The space has an energetic vibe and a plenty of attitude just like our Seniors! Built in 1885, it served as Portland's Merchant Hotel during the early 1900's. The building is on the National Register of Historic Places and has plenty of stories to tell. Rumor has it, the building is haunted by a former call girl, Nina, who was informing local authorites about illegal activites happening at the hotel. She was supposedly shoved down the elevator shaft and still occupies the hallways today.There's evidence of it too. She carved her name in the brick walls of the elevator shaft. You can still see it if you visit our famous Pizzaria, Old Town Pizza on hte main level. Far beaneath our third floor loft, the building's basement serves as the source of Portland's ancient Shanghai tunnels, where immigrants were smuggled out to the city's harbor and whisked away on ships in the middle of the night! If you catch one of the city tours, they'll take you down there for fright of your life! Full of history, romance and drama, we take full advatange of our studio's brick and plaster walls, 14 foot beamed ceilings, orginal wood floors and natural window light to create portrait art that showcases this important time in your life. I am a blue jeans, cafe mocha, antique-loving macbook kind of girl. Catch me at the beach, and I'd say that would be a pretty sweet day! For over 10 years, I traveled the country as a reporter and journalist for each and every television news network. Now, my love of creativity, fashion, deisgn and people has turned into a career in portrait art. My work with seniors is fun, fresh, and always has an element of drama to it, as these years are some of the most amazing and dramatic in your life! It marks the time when you strike out on your own and live the life you've just begun to dream about. I believe in making the portrait experience unique and different for every senior and creating images around who you are. I want to get to know you in all areas of your life, as this method of digging deep provides a unique connection bewteen photographer and subject. That trusted connection is where portrait magic happens and the young person you are transforms into the adult you are about to become. I am a little bit techy --photoshop fiend, I-anything and digital demon--a lot haut couture, and all eclectic. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------Every spring we take applications from Seniors who wish to model for us and represent our studio. Test shoots this year will occur in May and June. Acceptance to the program means you will be featured in our Senor advertising campaign and will appear in several of our marketing pieces as we kick off a new campaign for each senior portrait "season." Your images will be featured on our website galleries and in promotional displays across Portland. Models must sign a model release (parent must sign if under 18) and help us by showing off their images to their friends and family. Students are chosen based on confidence in front of the camera and in social situations, involvement in school activities, parental involvement, commitment to the program, and referrals. We do NOT choose based on looks! Once chosen, Sr Reps are required to have a final interview with Jewel Images staff, with a parent present (takes about 15 minutes). The parent must agree to the terms of the program and to assist in booking referrals. If chosen, a complimentary Senior session will be booked for the representative. The Sr Rep will receive: Senior session, representative referral wallets, mini album, and a cd slideshow of senior session to share with friends and family. We will also provide jpegs of select images to share on Facebook. In the Fall our models take part in our annual senior referral contests where they have the chance to win awesome prizes that will get them ready for college!
