Well, We are moving the studio! (yes, again. I know) Our current building has been sold, so it is time to move on, but we have found wonderful, incredible space that will allow us to give you the ultimate in fine-art portraiture experience.
We will now be located in Historic Old Town Portland inside the former Merchant’s Hotel bulding. It is now on the National Register of Historic Places, and is quite the architectural gem!
Here’s a peak inside:

It’s 4000 square feet with original fir floors, 14ft soaring ceilings, brick walls and lots of beautiful natural light streaming through the windows. We will have two shooting areas, a sales presentation area and plenty of workspace. It’s just in time for our busy holiday portrait season to kick off!
We’ll be moving in the next three weeks, so please bear with us as our workload gets a lot more hectic with the move. We appreciate your patience!
On to Fido Friday:
I don’t have any pooch pics today because I’m not in the studio right now, but here’ one from our beach trip last weekend. The Yaquina Head Lighthouse. LOVE this place. Lighthouses have this mystery about them that just makes you want to know ALL about them. If only they could talk!
One of my faithful blog readers and a former “colleague” (well, I’ve interviewd him a couple of timed for stories at KATU) is in Afghanistan right now serving our country. He is a wonderful soul and an amazing person. I must say… quite the photographer too. He shot these with his point-and-shoot. Wow!
An Afghani sunset. Beautiful, Greg!
He’s a bit of a weather junkie too! LOL. Cool clouds.
